True Story! – The brahmana couple.

Once upon a time, a Sanyasi visited a very gentle Brahman Family.  Brahman Couple had no children and so they were little unhappy.  In spite of that, they were very religious and devoted couple.   Brahman was quite well to do and prosperous.  The Brahman couple received the Sanyasi very nicely and served him very nicely.   Later neighbours of this Brahman couple came and listened to the Sanyasi with great devotion.  In those days, people had great respect and faith on the saintly people, and sannyasi used to give right kind of advice and lived up to the mark of sanyasi.  Post lunch villagers and the saint started discussing on various topics. True Story! – Grandfather or the ghost?

Seth Sadiramji had a very faithful servant.  Servant’s grandfather was staying in Jodhpur who moved to Vidyarane village in Bikaner district.  Once when grandfather was going to his field, on the way he say a cow that had injured his leg and could hardly stand up.  The Grandfather thought that the cow must be hungry and thirsty from 3 to 4 days. True Story! – The drought.

Once upon a time in the year 1986, there was severe drought in the state of Maharashtra and Karnataka.  Poor people, cows, bulls and other animals were dying from hunger and thirst.   Few people from from Bijapur (lamina Caste) had come to Kolhapur to earn a better living.  They had brought many cows and bulls along with them, however because of the circumstances they were selling their cows at a very low price.  This was an excellent opportunity for Butcher. True Story! – Saved by the Cow

Hare Krsna!

It was month of Ashadha (July) i.e.the rainy season. This incident occurred in the village Nohar in Bikaner district. A lake of Daluram maharshi (a sage) was situated at a distance of 2.5 km from the village. 15 days back it had rained and there was quick sand out there. A thirsty cow in search of water had entered the lake to drink some water. But she had got stuck in mud and was already in knee deep mud. (more…)

True Story! – Insulted a Cow

Late king of Kashmir Sri Pratap Singhji was a very religious man and protector of cows and Brahmins. He was strict follower of sanatan dharma, maintainer of citizens and knower of scriptures. Many Brahmins were regularly doing chanting of mantras and various sacrifices at his palace. No one in his kingdom could dare to kill cow or even glance towards her with wrong intentions. (more…)
