• “ja ghar tulsi aru gay, ta ghar vaidya kabhu na jaye”

- a house that has a Tulsi (sacred basil) plant and a cow is never visited by a doctor. It is said: jivantu avadghnyah ta me vishasya dushanih. Mother is one who loves her children. She cannot do a single act which is harmful or not good for her children. Mother supports her offspring in all ways. In sanskrita there is word dharan. The scriptures say the following about the cow, “Tvam mata sarva devanam.” – Means you are mother of all demigods as well. Cow is mother of all 33 crore demigods as well. Cow nourishes all in this universe and that why she is called mother. She is mother of all demigods, sages, humans and all living entities on face of earth.
