The sanskrit word ‘go’ means sun or sun ray. ‘go’ also means earth and cow. Go (vedic cow - http://mgdas.com/2010/04/vedic- ow/ ) is called so because it absorbs suns energy. Then it passes of that suns energy to us in form of milk, dung, urine and dust of her feet. Same solar energy is passed on to earth via cow dung and urine.
