Which cow’s urine should be taken?
- The scriptures instruct us: “Agramagram charantinamoshdhinam vane vane”. The cow which roams in jungle, exercises herself, fully grazes grass and medicinal herbs as she desires, drinks clean water and is in a healthy state is the right type. Urine from such a cow has medicinal value and should be consumed.
What should be the age of such a cow whose urine can be taken?

Here In this category I am going to speak about glories of Cow urine. Ganga devi resides in cow urine. All qualities of mother Ganga are present in cow urine. Just as when ganga water is filled in a vessel it never gets spoiled cow urine also never gets spoiled. It can be kept for as long as required and not get spoiled. Its colour will change because of copper and other salts but it will never get spoiled. It will get very strong odour and so will become difficult for internal consumption. But for external use it is best. Cow urine has many wonderful qualities and they will be discussed subsequently. All the points mentioned here are fully applicable to vedic cow only. (more…)

In India flesh of hen i.e. chicken is around Rs 110 per Kg, that of goat around Rs 220/Kg and beef around rs 60/kg. Actually in USA it is opposite. How is flesh of cow in India so cheap? In India cows are not only killed only for flesh. In India all parts of cow or rather all animals are used for other products. But products of cow are more suitable. Many of us may not be eating beef and might be thinking that now we are not supporting cow killing. But it is not so easy. As I mentioned all parts of cows are used for various purposes and if we are partaking in any product we are responsible. In case of cows especially her blood, fat, bone and hide (skin) are used in many products and if are utilising them then we are supporting killing of cows. (more…)
