GAUMAY TAIL (COW DUNG OIL)
Ingredients: -
- Cow dung juice:Â 100 ml.
- Til (English: Sesame, Latin: Sesamum Indicum) oil:Â 100 ml.

Ingredients and preparation: –
Burn cow dung cakes in a clean plate or a fry pan. In a half-burnt state cover it up with a plate and put cloth round it to create vacuum. Open it after half an hour and take out black hard coal. Don’t take unburned part or fully burned white ash. To make large quantity of such coal, dig the ground. Put bricks and plaster it with cement. Then burn the coal in the pit. When the coal is little burned a deep iron pot placed upside down should be put to cover it. This is for making coal in large quantity, for small quantity frying pan is fine. This also has many uses viz. Water purifying, washing vessels, on wounds, as pesticide, grain preservation etc.
First I will speak about cow dung ash being used for water purifying. Purifying water is a serious issue. Either we have to add chlorine or some other chemical. At least we have to boil the water. In emergency situations, fuel may not be available for boiling. Adding chlorine etc has its own defects and side effects. Cow dung ash is an excellent water purifier.
